BARK TO BASICS DAY TRAINING PROGRAM

ALL ABOUT THIS CLASS

Our personalized obedience training can turn the dog you have into the dog you hoped for.

We offer customized plans and exceptional coaching to transform your dog’s behavior. Our approach is rooted in empathy and understanding, ensuring that both you and your dog feel supported throughout the process.

All of our plans are tailored to meet your needs and your lifestyle. Whether you want a dog that stays at home or a dog that goes with you everywhere, we can customize a plan just for you.

Prerequisite

There are no prerequisites for this training program, but it is perfect for those who have just graduated from our Practically Perfect Puppy and our Tail Waggin’ Teens programs who are not quite ready for working on an advanced level.

WHO THIS CLASS IS FOR

If you are just to busy to work with your dog every day, we an do it for you.  If you want one-on-one help in teaching your dog to be well behaved and polite, this program is for you.

This program is for anyone who has a dog has frustrating or irritating behaviors, doesn’t listen, pulls on the leash, and acts crazy around the house.

This program is the starting point for anyone who wants to pursue advanced obedience or the Canine Good Citizen.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

We offer customized coaching plans, so your dog can get started on just about anything you like, but we suggest the following:

  • Sit
  • Polite Greetings
  • Down
  • Come When Called
  • Loose leash walking
  • Settle on a mat
  • Drop (the thing in your mouth)
  • Stay

 

Our goal is to teach your dog these cues, and then show you how to use them to make life with your dog more enjoyable.  This will give you a solid foundation to work with in your daily life.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

  • Three thirty minute training sessions each week for six weeks.  We will come to work with your dog, and you don’t even need to be there!
  • One 1-hour transition session per week for six weeks where we show you how to use what your dog has already learned.
  • Online homework and video library for you to refer to.
  • One month access to our Maintenance Membership Program.
