Advance your dog’s training with our advanced obedience and public manners class, designed for dogs who have completed basic obedience. This course offers personalized private training sessions in various public locations, ensuring your dog can navigate real-life distractions with ease. Additionally, participants have the option to take the Canine Good Citizen test, providing an excellent opportunity to showcase your dog’s exemplary behavior and training. Join us to build on your dog’s skills and enjoy a fun, engaging learning experience in diverse settings.

Prerequisite

Bark to Basics or a successful evaluation by the trainer.

WHO THIS CLASS IS FOR

If you want advanced training but don’t have the time to dedicate, this program is for you.

If your dog has already completed basic obedience and you’re looking to further enhance their skills, our advanced training class is perfect for you. This class is designed for dogs who are ready to tackle more complex challenges in various public settings.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

In this class we will take obedience on the road. Your dog will learn how to navigate the world and demonstrate that he/she has mastered the information that we introduced in Bark to Basics. In addition, we will introduce the following:

Distance cues
Back up
Drop on recall
Advanced leash walking

WHAT'S INCLUDED

Your trainer will come and work with your dog for three 30-minute sessions each week.
Your trainer will meet with you at the end of each week to discuss and “transfer” the behaviors to you.
You will receive a two month membership to our Maintenance Membership program to make sure that the training is maintained.
