Make grooming, vet visits, and handling stress-free for you and your dog with our Cooperative Care Training program! This private, customized training focuses on building your dog’s confidence and cooperation during essential care routines. Each four-week package includes four 50-minute sessions: two at our Rudy training center and two on location, such as your vet’s office or groomer. Empower your dog to be a willing partner in their care and create positive experiences for everyone involved!
There is none required, but having graduated from one of our training programs is very helpful.
This program is designed for dog owners who want to make grooming, vet visits, or other handling situations less stressful for their dogs. Whether your dog is nervous about being touched, struggles with specific care routines, or just needs a solid foundation in cooperative care, this class provides personalized support. Ideal for graduates of our training programs or those who have worked with an approved trainer, this program helps dogs and their owners build confidence and trust in handling situations.
In our Cooperative Care Training program, you and your dog will learn essential skills to reduce stress and improve cooperation during handling and care routines. The first two sessions at our Rudy training center focus on teaching handling exercises to build your dog’s comfort and trust. The final two sessions take these skills into real-world settings—such as the vet’s office or groomer—where you’ll practice applying what you’ve learned. By the end of the program, you’ll have the tools and confidence to make care routines smoother and more positive for both you and your dog.
