TAIL WAGGIN’ TEENS DAY TRAINING PROGRAM

ALL ABOUT THIS CLASS

Our comprehensive six-week private day training program is designed to address the unique needs of adolescent dogs for people who just don’t have time to train the dog. This program includes personalized training sessions where the trainer works with your dog. You need not be present for these sessions. We will focus on obedience fundamentals, problem-solving, and socialization skills. Each week, your dog will participate in three tailored training sessions, ensuring consistent progress and reinforcement of positive behaviors. At the end of each week we will meet and discuss what your dog has learned and make sure you are able to communicate with your dog effectively. Our maintenance program will ensure that your training continues once the trainer has finished working with your dog.

Prerequisite

There is nothing your dog needs to know in order to begin this course.

Puppies and dogs between the ages of six months and two years.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

How to address any lingering puppy behaviors like house training.
Your trainer will address any behaviors specific to adolescence.
How to prevent common issues that present during this developmental period.
Your trainer will teach tasks to help your dog become a well behaved member of society, including loose leash walking, come when called, and general obedience.
Your trainer will work on building impulse control and teach your teen how to make good decisions.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

Your trainer will come and work with your dog for three 30-minute sessions each week.
Your trainer will meet with you at the end of each week to discuss and “transfer” the behaviors to you.
You will receive a two month membership to our Maintenance Membership program to make sure that the training is maintained.
